Fujifilm launches the king of bridge cameras !

The SLR style Fujifilm FinePix HS10 super zoom has a 10 megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor, a 30X (24 – 720 mm) zoom lens with sensor shift image stabilization, manual zoom and focus ring, raw image format, HD movie with stereo audio recording and a tilting LCD screen. This will surely turn the head of future DSLR buyers.

Canon PowerShot SX20 IS super zoom camera.

Canon has introduced the PowerShot SX20 IS, a long zoom bridge camera, as the successor of the PowerShot SX10. Based on the specifications, the new model seems to combine the good image quality of the camera it replaces and the HD video recording capability of the PowerShot SX1 while upping the resolution to 12.1 megapixels.

The first netbook with Android OS comes from China.

A Chinese company has launched the first netbook with Google’s Android OS. The Alpha 680 is based on the ARM11 533 Mhz processor and comes with a 7 inch rotating  screen, 128 MB of RAM and 1GB of storage.

Ericsson unveils a 500 Mbps broadband over copper!

Based on Vectorized VDSL2 technology, the broadband line showed by Ericsson can reach speeds of 500 Mbps using six copper lines over 500 meters. The speed is 20 times faster that the ADSL2+ that is widely used for internet connection.

Flash memory with extended write / erase cycles.
