Nokia N97 with a Qwerty keyboard.

At the recent Nokia World event held at Barcelona, the mobile phone giant announced the Nokia N97. A handset with a large 16:9 touch screen, A QWERTY keyboard, a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, A-GPS, 32 gigabytes of memory and ready for the Internet.

Nokia 6260 Slide, a phone for social networking.

Nokia has announced the introduction of the model 6260 Slide aimed at social network users. Beside normal phone calls, the handset can also be used to share photographs and videos, keep an eye on a friend’s social network status or be guided to a restaurant.

The Icephone all in one smartphone.

Named the Swiss Knife of smartphones in the blogosphere, the Icephone is a little bit strange handset with three panels linked by folding hinges: one is a touchscreen, the other is a full QWERTY keyboard and the last one has necessary buttons for gaming.

Entry level Touch Viva smartphone from HTC.

The HTC Touch Viva is an entry level touch screen smartphone powered by TI’s Omap 850 processor with a speed of 201 MHz. By today’s standards, this is very slow for power hungry applications such as VoIP and multimedia.

Velocity touch screen mobile phone.
