Shanghai Administration for Industry and Commerce has audited 20 batches of MP4 players and found that 75% of them had a pass rate of 25% only!
The regulatory agency said that 75% of the MP4 players were substandard with memory capacity lower than that advertised. It further said that the devices had higher levels of radiation that pose a serious health problem for human beings beside interfering with other electronic devices.
