Artweaver is a freeware image editor with several tools that allows also the creation of artistic designs. You can also turn your photos to sketches.
Rather light, Artweaver offers several filters with artistic effects, a range of brushes and it supports layers. It also supports most common file formats: AWD (Artweaver), BMP, GIF, JPEG, PCX, TGA, TIFF, PNG, and PSD. The software’s functionality can be enhanced through plug-ins.
The software is available in English and German language. It can be translated to various other languages by downloading language files.
The developer’s site offers support through several links: Frequently Asked Questions, Tutorials, and Forums etc.
Artweaver’s main features:
