Windows has more options than what is available via the user interface. Computer geeks now how to access them through changes in the registry but for averages users, Fresh UI is there to help for free.

If you don’t feel like paying for an office suite, the third version of the open source Open Office suite is available for download in its final, non beta, version. Beside many improvements, it’s fully compatible with Microsoft Office 2007.

Sun Microsystems has released version 2.0 of VirtualBox. For those unfamiliar with virtualization software, the simple description is that it’s a tool that allows you to create a virtual computer inside your current physical computer.
