The Japanese company Bandai is set to release its newest creation, the NetTansorWeb, a robot that is designed to serve as a surveillance device.
The robot features a camera and Wi-Fi connection that allows it to be remotely controlled. Sensors allows it to go around obstacles while patrolling the house. The owner gets reports, via a computer or a mobile phone, of what’s going on in the house.
The robot can also be helpful to bloggers by monitoring the comments and automatically responding to requests.
It will be available in December and will cost around Yen 50,000.
